
Handwriting Readiness
Synopsis:
Handwriting Readiness is designed for young learners who need more practice writing before entering Kindergarten or after just completing Kindergarten. Learners will work on foundational skills including posture, grip, and pre-writing strokes. This class will also focus on alphabet knowledge, learning strokes of capital letters, and writing their name using the Handwriting Without Tears award winning program and multisensory activities.
Details:
Small Group Classes consist of eight 30-minute virtual sessions over four weeks. Classes are capped at four students max. Materials for this class include a Letters and Numbers for Me student edition workbook, an Individual Student Manipulative Pack (Slate Chalkboard, Mat, Wood Pieces, Little Chalk Bits, Sponge Cubes, and Pencils for Little Hands), and access to digital tools. A parent or caregiver must be present during the sessions. Parents/Caregivers can assist the student and are welcome to ask questions.
